Administrative Staff: Ingrid E. Bogel
Executive Director
Ingrid E. Bogel is Executive Director of the Conservation Center for Art and Historic Artifacts (CCAHA) in Philadelphia. From 1991-1998 she held the position of Assistant Director at CCAHA. Prior to joining the Conservation Center for Art and Historic Artifacts, she worked in the Conservation Department of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Ms. Bogel holds an MFA degree from the School for American Crafts, Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, New York.
Ms. Bogel serves on the Board of Directors of Wyck Historic House & Garden, the Abraham Lincoln Foundation, and just completed two terms as a Board Member of Heritage Preservation, the National Institute for Conservation. She is the Chair of the Regional Alliance for Preservation, a consortium of non-profit organizations located across the United States that provide education and training to curators, librarians, archivists, and historic site managers who are the stewards of our nation’s collections.
Ms. Bogel also serves on the Advisory Committee to the Western States and Territories Preservation Assistance program, based at the University of California, Berkeley. She is on the steering committee for a project to assist libraries at historically black colleges and universities with their preservation needs. She is an active member of the American Institute for Conservation of Historic & Artistic Works. She is a current panelist/reviewer for the Philadelphia Cultural Fund and has served as a grant reviewer for The Getty Foundation and the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
