Conservation Center - for Art and Historic Artifacts

CCAHA specializes in the treatment of art and historic artifacts on paper and provides preservation education, training, and consultation. Established in 1977, CCAHA is the largest nonprofit regional conservation lab in the country.

Conservation Assistant

Susan Bing received her B.F.A. from Tyler School of Art, Temple University.

In her position at CCAHA as Conservation Assistant, she assists in the preservation and conservation of historic artifacts on paper, rare books and archival materials. She has coordinated and participated on many on-site projects involving mold remediation, wallpaper treatments, archive treatments and conservation training. Ms. Bing has worked as a conservator for Myers Conservation and Associates LLC specializing in the conservation of decorative paintings/murals, architectural elements, historic plaster ceilings and sculptures. Her previous conservation experience includes positions as a conservation lab intern at the University Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, University of Pennsylvania, and as a conservation science intern at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
