Conservation Center - for Art and Historic Artifacts

CCAHA specializes in the treatment of art and historic artifacts on paper and provides preservation education, training, and consultation. Established in 1977, CCAHA is the largest nonprofit regional conservation lab in the country.

Preservation Services Assistant

Orelia E. Dann, Preservation Services Assistant, received her B.A. in Germanic Studies and Art and Art History from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA.

In her position at CCAHA in the Preservation Services Department, Dann will assist in preparation for workshops and educational programs; maintain and update the Regional Alliance for Preservation website; organize Board mailings; and maintain the CCAHA library.

Ms. Dann previously worked at CCAHA as a Conservation Technician where she treated the Pennsylvania State Archive’s American Civil War Muster Out Rolls, a Save America’s Treasures project. She joined the CCAHA staff in 2006 as a packing technician. Before coming to Philadelphia, she had interned at University of Michigan’s William L. Clements Library, the Commonwealth Conservation Center in Harrisburg, PA, and Dickinson College’s Trout Gallery.
