Conservation Center - for Art and Historic Artifacts

The Conservation Center specializes in the treatment of art and historic artifacts on paper. Established in 1977, CCAHA is one of the largest non-profit regional conservation labs in the country.

Conservation Technician

Emily Hamilton, Conservation Technician, received her B.A. from Reed College in Art History.
 
Prior to joining CCAHA in 2007, Ms. Hamilton completed a textiles conservation internship at the Portland Art Museum and was a Preservation Assistant at the Reed College Library. As an undergraduate she focused on medieval art history, studying manuscript illumination as an exchange student at Oxford University and writing a thesis on urban representation in the 14th- century Vie de St. Denis manuscript.
