Conservation Center - for Art and Historic Artifacts

The Conservation Center specializes in the treatment of art and historic artifacts on paper. Established in 1977, CCAHA is one of the largest non-profit regional conservation labs in the country.

Conservation Technician

Tyler Kline, Conservation Technician, received his B.A. in anthropology and sculpture from Portland State University in Portland, OR and studied painting and architecture at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA.
 
In his position within the Collections Care Department he assists in the conservation of large projects such as the Chester County Deed Books and the Cornell Poster Project.  He also shares responsibility for documentation photography of objects before and after treatment.  Before joining the staff at CCAHA in 2005, he worked in Visitor Services at the Philadelphia Museum of Art during the Dali exhibition and as part of the gallery installation team at the Portland Art Museum, installing the multi-media "Let's Entertain" exhibition.  Mr. Kline is also a visual artist who shows nationally and internationally.
