Conservation Center - for Art and Historic Artifacts

CCAHA specializes in the treatment of art and historic artifacts on paper and provides preservation education, training, and consultation. Established in 1977, CCAHA is the largest nonprofit regional conservation lab in the country.

Conservation Technician

Tamara Talansky, Conservation Technician, received her B.S. from the University of Florida in Film/Communications in 1991, after which she took graduate courses in Photography and Museum Studies at Columbia College, Chicago.

Ms. Talansky joined the staff of CCAHA in 2007, and has been working on the New Jersey State Archives project. In addition to working at CCAHA, she is currently Assistant Director of Gallery 339 in Philadelphia, a fine art photography gallery. She is also a Photo Conservation Technician for a private conservator in Milford, NJ.

Prior to joining staff of CCAHA, Ms. Talansky worked at the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago, and also as Assistant Director of Catherine Edelman Gallery, Chicago.
