Conservation Center - for Art and Historic Artifacts

CCAHA specializes in the treatment of art and historic artifacts on paper and provides preservation education, training, and consultation. Established in 1977, CCAHA is the largest nonprofit regional conservation lab in the country.

Registrar

Lauren Meals, Registrar, received her Bachelor of Science degree in Photography from Drexel University.

As Registrar, Ms. Meals oversees the accession and preparation of objects to be treated and coordinates the final steps of packing and return to clients. She is also responsible for tracking objects during their time at the Center, and for arranging insurance and shipping and receiving details. Prior to joining the staff, Ms. Meals worked as Assistant to the Director of the Seraphin Gallery in Philadelphia.
