Conservation Center - for Art and Historic Artifacts

CCAHA specializes in the treatment of art and historic artifacts on paper and provides preservation education, training, and consultation. Established in 1977, CCAHA is the largest nonprofit regional conservation lab in the country.

Mellon Fellow

Jessica Silverman, Mellon Fellow in Paper Conservation, received her B.A in Art History from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her Masters of Science in Art Conservation program at Winterthur/U. of Delaware.

While at CCAHA, Ms. Silverman will prepare condition reports, treatment estimates and proposals, and carry out conservation treatment for works of art on paper and archival materials. Prior to her fellowship at CCAHA, Jessica worked in conservation labs at the American Philosophical Society; the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore, MD; the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, Netherlands; and for Winterthur/U of Delaware.
