Our Housing & Framing Staff combine extensive framing experience with a thorough knowledge of today's conservation housing concerns.
Zac Dell'Orto received a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore with a major in General Fine Arts and a concentration in Printmaking. Zac has previously worked as a picture framer at Vision Graphics; as a moulding department worker at The Frame Factory; and as a picture framer at Picture Us Galleries.
In his position at CCAHA, Zac assists clients with housing and framing choices and questions. He is responsible for the matting, mounting, and framing of original works of art and historic artifacts for storage and exhibition, including the design and construction of sealed microclimate packages and custom finished picture frames. He also works with conservators on the design of special housing.
Anne Buckwalter received a BFA in Painting and Drawing from the Tyler School of Art in 2010 and an MFA in Interdisciplinary Studies from Maine College of Art in 2012. Her paintings have been exhibited and collected in the US, Canada, and Italy.
As Housing Technician, Anne mats, mounts, and frames objects for storage and exhibition. She also designs and constructs sealed microclimate packages and custom picture frames.
