In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to make simple enclosures for paper artifacts, including folders, boxes, and rolled storage constructions.

This workshop will give an introduction to best practices in caring for any paper-based collection.  Topics covered will include: handling guidelines, assessing storage materials and special needs items, prioritizing for treatment, and understanding preservation and conservation terminology.
