The textblock was removed from the cover and disbound. The folio folds were mended with thin acrylic-toned mulberry paper adhered with wheat starch paste. The text was re-sewn following the original two-hole pattern. The paper spine was cut away from the cover and adhered to a thick acrylic-toned mulberry paper. The spine of the textblock was lined with mulberry paper adhered with wheat starch paste, and the volume was re-backed with the newly repaired paper spine.
